Description:
Our international bistro is situated in the heart of the medieval town of Confolens, in the beautiful Charente region of France.
Our place is like a café at lunch, with French radio, Plat du Jour, and a bit of a buzz, and in the evening we have more of a restaurant mood with candles, soft music from the CD player and a grill menu of which we are very proud indeed.
All the meals, at lunch and dinner, are cooked by Sandy - my wife - who is, without doubt, the finest British chef currently working in France.
Let's not forget Belgian waffles with fruit and/or chocolate or caramel AND cream for breakfast, and the fact that we are the only bar we know of where Gabariers - the local beer from Cognac - is sold. How can you resist?
We look forward to greeting you soon
