A huge sigh of relief as Niort register their first win in the league this season against 4th placed Arles, a result that lifts them off the bottom of the table on goal difference.  Next weekend (1 Nov) sees them travel to Brive ESA in Limousin for another potentially tricky cup tie against the side from the Division d'Honneur.

SO Châtellerault 1 - 2 Les Genets d'Anglet

Châtellerault slip to rock-bottom of the league after this home defeat.  Next up is a short trip up the road to Thouars in the Coup de France on 1 November.

Coup de France

The Coup de France returns this weekend, with 6^th round ties being played on 1 and 2 November.  This round is the last point at which the ties are confined to the Ligue Centre-Ouest, as round 7 sees the Ligue 2 professional clubs enter the competition, with money-spinning opportunities for our local clubs.  The hot tie in this draw is the local derby between UA Cognac (CFA2) and Angouleme (Division d'Honneur).  The ties are as follows:
