Free Ticket on Late easyJet Flights for FLEXI Passengers for delay of 15 minutes


If you are travelling on easyJet with a FLEXI fare ticket, they are offering a free one way standard flight to anywhere in their European network if your flight arrival is more than 15 minutes late.

Launched on 16 November 2010 for business travellers, the FLEXI fare allows passengers to make unlimited changes within a four-week period to flights one week before and up to three weeks after the original booked travel; Speedy Boarding; a piece of hold luggage and no extra payment fees.  The extra cost on average is €30 – €100 per flight.

According to Carolyn McCall, Chief Executive of easyJet, whilst there will never be a ‘business class’ in easyJet planes, business travellers accounted for 18 per cent of all their passengers which she hoped would rise to 21 per cent within three years.

FLEXI fares were originally only available for selected routes through business travel agents.  The are now available on all routes on line.

The free ticket promise is open until 30 November 2011.
