For those who don't yet know him, Stephen Clarke is the highly acclaimed author of the “Merde” series of books about the experiences of an Englishman, Paul West, moving to, living and working in France. His latest book about Paris is called “Paris Revealed – The Secret Life of a City”. The book is a wonderfully original take on Parisian life and fans of Stephen’s original series will be pleased to see that his humorous writing style is evident in buckets. With sections including buying an apartment, history, romance, the fascination with water and of course, the metro, Stephen has used his observations and knowledge of living in Paris for the last 18 years to create a superb read.
