Since we launched this terrific competition to win free tickets to Futuroscope we’ve had some very funny and imaginitive suggestions for what boffins should invent next, so thanks to all who took part for giving us a laugh!

However, this was not a writing competition, so we selected at random three winners who will each receive four tickets to one of the finest attractions in France.  The winners are [cue drum-roll]...

• Joseph Jones from Merseyside who is planning on visiting the region in September with family.  Joseph wants ‘a pill that makes you more intelligent’.

• Portia Hussey from East Sussex who will be visiting the region in August with her mother and two boys.   Portia suggests ‘a button that packs and unpacks the car when I am camping and guarantees perfect weather.’  You can put my name down for one of those!

• Emma Parrack-Graves from Deux Sevres who suggests ‘something that attaches to your brain and then projects memories onto a big white screen so I can keep going back to the fab memories i have and see them over and over, know we have photos but to see the event happen again as i remember in tiny detail would be lovely. even to when i was a baby and dont remember things’.  So long as you can block out the embarrassing memories, sounds great!
