Description:
President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Angouleme Daniel Braud wants Hungarian airline company CityLine to commence services from Angouleme-Cognac airport as early as May, according to SudOuest.
At a meeting of the General Assembly yesterday morning, Mr Braud said that he wants to get contracts presented to other stakeholders in the airport (the mixed trade union SMAC) soon so that services are able to commence as early as possible. The company is expected to operate three services a week between Angouleme-Cognac and London Gatwick, with Marseille and Lyon the other planned destinations.
Fares are expected to be comparable with those previously offered by Ryanair.
