Futuroscope is the premier attraction in Poitou-Charentes, and the second-largest theme park in France.  It attracted a record 1.7 million visitors in 2009, with the new attraction Arthur the 4D adventure attracting tens of thousands of visitors since its launch in December.

The park has excellent transport links, with Poitiers-Biard Airport just a few kilometres away, the A10 autoroute passing right by the park, and the TGV stopping off on its way between Paris and Bordeaux.
