Whilst the last day for Christmas mail in the UK is 21 December for first class mail, and 18 December for second class mail, the question is when is the last date you can safely send your Christmas post using La Poste?

 

International mail is normally treated as first class on arrival in the UK, so as long as your mail arrives by 21 December it should safely reach its destination in time for Christmas. 

 

La Poste will normally take two working days to get your mail to the UK, so our advice is that Friday 18th December is the last day you can safely post your mail to the UK if you want it to arrive for Christmas.

 

As far as we are aware, there is no official line on this, and our advice would be to post as soon as possible!!
