Since 25 September a new TV channel called Villages TV has been available on channel 20 of the TNT digital terrestrial service.
Broadcasting from new studios in Couhé, the channel has been available on the internet since the beginning of September, but is now available as a broadcast channel. It aims to bring local people together, with information about sport, heritage, history and other general information relevant to the area.
The new channel has been three years in the making, and is backed by the local press. Villages TV is available within a 30km radius of Poitiers.
