Ryanair set to quit La Rochelle and Angouleme airports this winter

Whilst there has been no formal announcement on the Ryanair website, it is expected that the no-frills airline will soon announce that it will pull the plug on its winter services to La Rochelle, Angouleme and Nantes from London Stansted.

The news will come as a bitter blow to commuters and ex-pats living in the Poitou-Charentes region, who will be forced to find an alternative route back to the UK.  The only route being maintained in the region is Poitiers, although winter services to neighbouring Limoges are still being offered on the website
