Charente is 'A Place in the Sun'

The popular Channel 4 TV programme ‘A Place in the Sun', is currently filming in the Charente.  The series, which has for years inspired the British public to spread their wings and purchase property abroad, is focusing on the cathedral city of Angouleme, the town of Ruffec and the chateau village of Verteuil.
