Treasure Hunt Rally - A great way to have fun and discover the Charente Limousine countryside

Local translator Debbie Bradbury has devised a new way for British people in the Charente Limousine to discover the local area, and at the same time have a bit of fun.  The debut Treasure Hunt Rally will take place on Sunday 31 May 2009, with capacity for up to 30 cars to take part.

The event will start from an as yet secret rendez-vous (first clue to be sent on reception of entry form and fee) at 9h30, for a briefing on the rules and regulations, and to receive the quiz sheets.  There will be a morning and afternoon session, separated by a lunchtime picnic at a pre-defined location.  The day will finish off at around 17h30, where participants will again rendez-vous for quiz sheets to be checked, and for aperitifs and prize giving.

With 20 of the 30 places already taken (at the time of writing), the event promises to be a great success.  Debbie said "This is a way for people who live here or have holiday homes here to discover more about the surrounding area and have a bit of fun at the same time!"
