Wild Target: Cinema le Foyer, Parthenay

It's been horribly quiet on the film front just recently - either there's nothing of interest or there is a film we'd love to get, but they won't send it in English....
However, next week we have Wild Target which looks promising - it features some well known stars and two Ruperts - Grint and Everett. I gather it is actually a British remake of a 1993 French film called Cible Emouvante - they seem to have missed the opprtunity for a great pun there - if I'd been translating I'd have been very tempted to label it Moving Target!
1993 was the year of Schindler's List, Jurassic Park and Germinale, but I must have missed thist one.
We have got together with Haley and Andy of Reel Fish and Chips to organise a meal - "Flicks and Chips", next Wednesday, 11th August before the 2.30 p.m. screening.
They will set their trailor up on our carpark and be ready to serve from 12: we have a room with tables and chairs - or if the weather's nice we can set them up outside, and a licensed bar for the purchase of liquid refreshment, tea and coffee.
If you'd like to come for the meal, please let me know by Sunday evening via e-mail as they need to know the numbers.
