Annie and Peter Vasey offer Bed & Breakfast in their warm and beautiful home in Vienne, in France's Poitou Charentes region, and will do all in their power to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday.

Le Grenier is a beautiful old French longere on the edge of the village, set in mature gardens extending to about two hectares in whose trees red squirrels and woodpeckers live, and where one also sees birds of prey, various song birds, snakes, lizards, pine martens and loads of butterflies.

We are on the borders of the Parc de la Brenne, equi-distant from 3 major towns - Poitiers, Limoges and Chateauroux. Limoges airport, with low cost flights from Stansted, Newcastle, East Midlands and Southampton is approximately 1 hour away.

Two rooms, both with en suite facilities, are available. We also offer secure parking, and storage for bicycles, fishing gear and hiking boots.

Room 1

The first guest bedroom offers double bed and 1 single bed. Satellite TV, shower and wash basin in the room.

 Room 2

The second guest bedroom is offers double bed and 1 single bed. Satellite TV.

Both rooms are large with Tea and Coffee facilities.

The Séjour

Large Lounge with satellite TV, Dining area and Log Fire. Doors opening onto long sun terrace and beautiful mature garden.

The outside room

Access to sun terrace and garden, with use of table and chairs, BBQ and loungers. The garden has mature shady trees, inhabited by 3 friendly red squirrels and their babies.

Other information

• Changeover Day - Arrival day after 3 pm and Departure times by 11am
• Full English Breakfast available for 8 Euros per person.
• We can provide packed lunches for a small charge.
• Evening meals are available for 15 Euros per person.
• Linen is provided, property cleaned twice a week.
• Wide range of English books, DVDs and videos for the rare rainy day!
