Our gites come equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catering holiday. Our heated swimming pool is the big attraction for our guests combined with the warm sunny weather, giving the ingredients for a fun filled holiday.

We have designed the cottages and gardens to be child friendly, making the area safe and secure  so you can relax and put your feet up. An easy days drive from any of the ports, or by plane to several local airports, or by train to Angouleme. You can even book by credit card offering you added security.

This recently renovated farm workers cottage with south facing views over the Charentes countryside has two large bedrooms, both en-suite with shower, WC and wash basin.

The second bedroom can be equipped with a double bed making the cottage suitable for two couples or two single beds for family accommodation.

The cottage has been renovated to a high standard while still maintaining all the charm of property in the area. Both large bedrooms still have the original old oak beams exposed that add to their character.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect and includes :-

• a dish washer
• a microwave
• cooker with oven
• fridge/freezer

The lounge still has its working Charentais fireplace with wood burning stove making it cosy for out of season holidays. It is equipped with UK satellite TV, DVD player, and a CD player. A selection of music CD's, some board games and books are also provided.

A free wi-fi Internet broadband connection is also available.

The bedrooms are both south facing and catch all the sunshine on offer in this the second sunniest region of France. The views are over arable farm land where sunflowers and grapes are important crops. 

The cottage has its own private fenced patio area, with outside table and chairs, a sun shade and a BBQ. 

This cottage shares a 10 metre [33ft] by 5 metre [16ft] heated, chlorine free swimming pool with our other small gites. The pool has a constant depth of 1.2 metres [4ft] and is fully enclosed by a wall for privacy and conforms to the very high French safety standards for pools.

The pool is surrounded by a very large patio area where ample sun loungers and parasols are provided. It has stunning views over the local countryside.

Live music night in our games room.

We have a games room on site which faces away from the cottages and has a magnificent uninterrupted view over the countryside. To take advantage of the landscape there is also a large terrace area there and a large BBQ. The games room has table football, dart board, swing ball, boules and a badminton set and other various outdoor games.

4 adult bicycles are available to borrow free.

Parking for your car or motorbike is undercover.  

Prices for 2009

Our rates are per week for the property and include all linen and towels and a welcome pack. No fuel surcharges in off season.
