WHERE ARE WE

La Blanchie stands on its own at the end of a lane and overlooks a valley of pastureland and small woods. It is extremely peaceful and private. It is situated half way between Angouleme and Limoges. Everyday shopping is done in Roumaziers (5km) it offers two supermarkets, 2 chemists, a post office several bars & restaurants, butchers and a baker's. Etc.  There is also an English spoken doctor and dentist.   Sunday mornings you will find a small market.

In Suris you will find hairdressers, church, a post office and an English run bar which provides snacks and meals booking is strongly advised. You can either book via us or telephone Lynn or Dean direct on 05 45 29 69 22

The village of La Peruse just (2km) has a baker and small general store and a hairdresser's church and tabac bar/restaurant.

Caravan Site

The caravan site is set in 10acres of peaceful rolling countryside and is open from April - October.

Following many years of caravanning experience through France and England and having belong to the caravan club for many years we would like to welcome you to our campsite.

There are 50 emplacements several with water and 10amp electricity, clean washing facilities with free running hot water to showers and sinks including washing up facilities and a WC chemical emptying.

The campsite is extremely peaceful and very welcoming and friendly. There is also a wide variety of local attractions close by including some very beautiful lakes for swimming with man mad beaches

A swimming pool to serve the campsite is planned for the near future along with a small shop with useful provisions. Fresh eggs are for sale on site.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after please.

Storage

Storage facilities for caravans, trailer tents or anything offered at LaBlanchie.

Storage has proved to be extremely popular here. Just think of all the extra money that can be saved on ferry crossings and fuel, let alone all the stress and hassle. Customers who store with us have access to their caravans 365 days of the year and with prior arrangement may stay on site out of season. Not many more miles down to the south of Spain or Portugal. Why not stay on site where we can also offer you continental comprehensive caravan insurance, also caravan servicing can be arranged and is extremely local to us.See how the price compares.
