WHERE ARE WE

La Blanchie stands on its own at the end of a lane and overlooks a valley of pastureland and small woods. It is extremely peaceful and private. It is situated half way between Angouleme and Limoges. Everyday shopping is done in Roumaziers (5km) it offers two supermarkets, 2 chemists, a post office, several bars & restaurants, butchers and baker's etc, there is also an English spoken doctor and dentist. Sunday mornings you will find a small market.

In Suris you will find hairdressers, church, a post office and an English run bar which provides snacks and meals booking is strongly advised. You can either book via us or telephone Lynn or Dean direct on 05 45 29 69 22

The village of La Peruse just (2km) has a baker and small general store and a hairdresser's church and tabac bar/restaurant.

Our farmhouse / gite sleeps 14 in total and can be separated into two individual properties if required as there are two front doors and communicating doors inside.

The gite part sleeps 4 and comprises of lounge / kitchenette and one bedroom and a shower room The lounge are has a double sofa bed, a table and 4 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with appliances. The bedroom has twin single beds and the shower room has a WC shower and sink. 
 

The farmhouse consists of a lounge area with double sofa bed a separate fully equipped kitchen with appliances including a washing machine, hall, downstairs 3 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed, one with bunk beds and the last one has two single beds. There is also a bath / shower WC and wash basin with a seperate WC, 2 in total.

There is a large garden with the use of patio tables, chairs, sun beds and BBQ.

LINEN

Bed linen and towels and tea towels are included in the price. Outside towels are not provided. If a change of bed linen is required a small charge per bed is made. You will find the properties are left for you in a clean a tidy manner. Beds will be prepared for you according to the size of your party, however no maid service is provided during the rental period and if a change of linen is required then there will be a small charge per bed.

The swimming pool is shared by our properties, it is 10X5 and 1 metre deep and conforms to afnor NFP90 306.

Farmhouse normally works out to be £100.00 per person but this needs to be checked as it can vary on the size of the party.
